Jeanine is the founder and, currently, the sole therapist at The Trauma Center of South Jersey. She is a New Jersey Licensed Clinical Social Worker.  In 2004,  Jeanine completed her Bachelors degree in Psychology at Rutgers University and was a member of the National Honors Society. Jeanine continued her graduate studies at Rutgers University and earned a Masters degree in Social Work in 2010.

In 2004, Jeanine started her career in behavioral health treating children with Autism and this is where her love for mental health grew. She has over  9 years experience working at Inspira Medical Center where she has worked in different departments gaining a wealth of experience. Currently, she works at the Wellness and Recovey Outpatient Program as a therapist treating people with co-occurring disorders. She began to see the need for specialized treatment for traumatized individuals.

Jeanine believes it is important to provide clients a non-judgmental space where their voice is heard and their feelings are validated.  She feels it is necessary to meet people with warmth and compassion. Jeanine understands the most important goal is to build a trusting relationship with her clients so they feel safe and supported. Because everyone’s therapy process is unique, she may use a combination of treatment modalities and approaches to fit her clients needs.

Jeanine’s clients describe her as a therapist who really “gets it”.  Her energy is fueled by her desire to help others and you will see this in her sessions. Jeanine believes in the possibility of change and feels everyone has the potential to be their best self, even you!

Jeanine’s specialites include, but are not limited to, Trauma, PTSD, Addiction, Dual Diagnosis, and Anxiety Disorders. Jeanine is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing from the EMDR Institute and in the process of becoming certified. In addition, she became a licensed drug and alcohol counselor in July of 2019 furthering her commitment to specialized populations.
